The Standards Edge: Golden Mean features articles that explore the different elements of global trade and the impact their disharmony has on businesses, governments, consumers, and the law. The book presents recommendations for addressing some of the challenges facing global trade and discusses how standardization and the law can be structured to help balance competing interests. It ultimately focuses on: How standardization can serve as the golden mean for global trade. This book was produced in concert with a Standards Edge conference entitled: "Standardization and the Law: Developing the Golden Mean for Global Trade."
